Anyone with a Google account can create a Meet for 60 minutes for 100 participants for free. Airmeet allows you to host single-track events for 100 participants for free. This freemium model also includes Zapier integrations, polls, raise hand and invite to the stage, q&a, and more. 

You can click on Google Meet and create an instant meeting for your users or schedule one at some time. Airmeet’s UI is kept in pace with video conferencing requirements, making it a seamless process for the host, attendees, and speakers. You can share the screen, raise hand and invite to the stage, create social lounges, speed network, and even reduce to basic interactive features if bandwidth is low.

Since Google Meet is more suited for team collaboration, it does not come with many features required by event organizers and event hosts.
